Ann Hagman Cardinal is the Director of Alumni Affairs for Vermont College of Fine Arts and has done admissions or marketing for Vermont College in different incarnations for over twelve years. She is an alumna of three programs including the MFA in Writing, and she recently completed her certificate in the Picture Books from the MFA in Writing for Children & Young Adults Program (because she can’t seem to stay out of graduate school). She is a blogger and columnist, and her first novel, Sister Chicas, was released from NAL/Penguin in 2006. She is working on two new young adult novels simultaneously as she likes a challenge. She lives in Morrisville with her husband and son.
