Carolyn Coman’s books for children and young adults include What Jamie Saw (National Book Award finalist and Newbery Honor book), Many Stones (National Book Award finalist and Printz Honor book), The Big House and Sneaking Suspicions. The Memory Bank, a graphic story book, with Rob Shepperson, will be published by Scholastic in 2010. She has taught fiction writing at Harvard Extension, and served on the faculty of VCFA’s MFA in Writing for Children and Young Adults and Hamline University’s MFA program. She currently teaches the Whole Novel Workshop at the Highlights Foundation in Pennsylvania.
