DIRECTIONS
By Car
From Exit 8 off I-89: Follow the access road and make a left at the 4th light, which is Main Street and Route 12 North. Make a right onto East State Street in the middle of town – there’s a stop light in the intersection. The VCFA Campus is at the top of the hill on the right. Parking is available in the large lot next to Alumni Hall, or behind Noble Hall. Free parking is also available on the streets around the campus. MFA offices are located on the 4th floor of College Hall.
By plane
By bus
The
Greyhound bus depot is about a 15 minute walk, uphill, to the VCFA campus. Drop off and pick up only; no office: 800-231-2222. Call ahead to reserve a taxi.
By Train
The
Amtrak Train Depot is three miles from campus. 800-USA-RAIL. Call ahead to reserve a taxi as they are not available at the station.

Bus Services
The Green Mountain Transit Authority (GMTA) serves a bus stop on campus, which is served by the Montpelier Circular bus route. Please check the GMTA

PARKING
Guest Parking Instructions:
Guests are welcome to park on city streets if you find a spot available; no pass is required and you must comply with city parking regulations. There is no overnight parking on Montpelier city streets from November 15-April 1.
A visitor’s parking pass is required to park in VCFA parking lots. Please allow plenty of time to find a parking spot before your visit. Review the Campus Map to locate the blue parking areas for visitors. These are beside the gym and behind Noble and Glover Halls. Please do not parking in areas that say “No Parking,” Handicapped spots w/out the appropriate permit, or spots that aren’t marked for visitors on the map. Please display your parking pass on your dashboard during your visit.
