Louise Crowley

Louise Crowley began her career in education working with the Community College of Vermont. She came to the MFA in Writing Program in 1981 as Administrative Assistant and assumed the position of Director in 1997. In addition, she served as the first Director of the MFA in Writing for Children & Young Adults Program. She helped to found the College’s nationally renowned literary/art journal Hunger Mountain: the VCFA Journal of the Arts and served, for a number of years, as Senior Editor. She has degrees from Westbrook College and Johnson State College and lives in East Montpelier.
