Sarah Ellis
Sarah Ellis has published a baker's dozen books including novels, picture books, a short story collection and two books about writing. Her awards include the Mr. Christie Book Award, the Violet Downey Book Award and the Governor General's Award. Her 2006 title, Odd Man Out, won the Sheila A. Egoff Award and the TD Children's Book of the Year Award and was designated an ALA notable book. Sarah's books have been translated into French, Spanish, Danish, Korean and Japanese. Regular reviews for Hornbook Magazine, the occasional review for The New York Times, a children's book column for Quill and Quire magazine, presentations in schools, and lecturing on children's literature round out Sarah's life with books.
