Martine Leavitt

Martine Leavitt has a BA in English from the University of Calgary and an MFA from Vermont College-Norwich University. She has written seven novels for young adults, including Tom Finder, winner of the Mr. Christie Award, Heck Superhero, a finalist for the Governor General’s Award, and Keturah and Lord Death, a finalist for the National Book Award. Her novels have been published in Japan, Korea, Denmark, Germany, Switzerland, Italy and the Netherlands. Currently, she is writing poetry. She is a mother of seven and a grandmother of nine—all of whom are critically acclaimed.
